TUNKHANNOCK – House Appropriations Chairman Rep. Bill Adolph (R-Delaware), at the request of Rep. Karen Boback (R- Columbia/Luzerne/Wyoming), hosted a House Appropriations Committee hearing at the Tunkhannock Public Library to gather information about the importance of state support for newborn health screening for over 140,000 babies born in Pennsylvania each year.

Karen Boback’s (R-Columbia/Luzerne/Wyoming) invitation and with the help of the Wyoming County Chamber and the Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau, the PA House Appropriations Committee, chaired by Rep. William Adolph (R-Delaware), will visit the Tunkhannock region to see how funding for state programs impact the area. The committee will also learn more about the Northeast region’s contributions to the state’s economy.
