Each year the state House and Senate Appropriations committees host budget hearings to better understand the budget proposal presented by the governor for the upcoming fiscal year. While your individual state legislators
are very involved and make the Appropriations Committee aware of budget issues important to your local community, the House Appropriations Committee is providing you with an opportunity to have a more direct role in crafting a state budget by giving you the chance to participate in the annual budget hearings hosted by this committee.
For the first time, Pennsylvania residents can submit questions that you would like top cabinet officials of Pennsylvania state government to address during House Appropriations Committee budget hearings for the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget.
Please use the electronic form below to submit a question or issues for the committee to consider during budget hearings. Issues that are new to the members and staff of the committee will take precedence over other more well-known issues that are already the subject of review by the committee.
